Classes, crew training and b-boy culture
This is the path most dancers take at Breakdance Club. Nothing here is automated, and nothing happens on a fixed clock. You move through these steps at your own pace, in your own order, and you can stop at any point.
Sessions run separately for kids, teens and adults, and each group starts from where it actually is. If you have never done a six-step, say so. If you already have a windmill, say that too. The group you land in should match the work you can do today.
Top rock, footwork, freezes and power moves are taught as connected pieces, not as a checklist. Expect to spend real time on standing work and floor patterns. Skipping that stage usually shows up later as stiff entries and lost timing.
Written breakdowns and music history context sit alongside the class schedule. They are there for the hours you are not in the room, so you can review a freeze progression or a footwork variation before you try it again on the floor.
Entering, holding space and stepping out are skills of their own. Cypher etiquette and battle preparation are covered as part of training, so your first circle is not a guess. Open practice nights are where this gets tested with other dancers around you.
Concrete and marley ask different things of your ankles, knees and wrists. Warm-ups, sneaker choices, knee pads and recovery routines are covered with that difference in mind, so hard floors do not quietly wear you down.
There is no account to create and no place to reserve on this site. When you want to ask about a class, a session or a practice night, write to us through the contact page and we will take it from there.
If a class listing, a cypher night or a jam date leaves you with a question, the fastest route is a plain message. We read what comes in and reply when we are not on the floor. There is no account to create, no advance class reservation and no confirmation email waiting on the other side.
Before you write, the help page covers the questions that come up most often, from age groups to what to bring to a first session.
